The judge who tried the Terri Schiavo case and most recently rejected Gov. Jeb Bush's request to intervene, received a campaign contribution from the lawyer pressing for the brain-injured woman's death, raising questions of a conflict of interest.
According to Florida's Department of State, County Circuit Court Judge George W. Greer received a contribution of $250 for his 2004 re-election campaign from Felos & Felos, the law firm of George Felos.
Felos, known as a "right-to-die" advocate, represents Terri Schiavo's estranged husband, Michael Schiavo, who won a court order from Greer to have the woman's life-sustaining feeding tube removed one week ago.
The contribution's apparent conflict of interest was raised by an Internet site investigating the Schiavo case, the Empire Journal, and by Rev. D. James Kennedy's group Center for Reclaiming America.
The contribution from Felos came May 7, 2004, one day after Pinellas County Circuit Court Judge Douglas Baird ruled "Terri's Law" unconstitutional. The Florida Legislature's measure was designed to enable Gov. Bush to intervene in the previous instance in which Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed.
The contribution from Felos was the only one made that day, indicating it was not part of a fund-raising effort.
The Empire Journal also reported contributions to Greer were made by three other lawyers who represented Michael Schiavo at various stages in the case.
Deborah Bushnell, Gwyneth Stanley and Stephen G. Nilsson each contributed at least $250 to Greer's re-election campaign, as did court-appointed attorneys representing the husband's interest, Pacarek & Herman and Richard Pearse.
WND attempted to reach the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission, the independent body that investigates complaints against state judges, but there was no response.
Felos' office in Dunedin, Fla., also could not be reached.
The Empire Journal notes that in Florida, a judge is not required to recuse himself if he receives a contribution from an attorney in a case over which he presides.
Nevertheless, a contribution can establish the appearance of impropriety, and the state's code of judicial conduct requires a judge to remove himself in such a case.
Ronald D. Rotunda, professor of law at George Mason University, told the Empire Journal he sees such contributions as problematic.
He cites a 2002 poll of the American Bar Association concluding 84 percent of all Americans are concerned that the impartiality of judges is compromised by their need to raise campaign contributions.
Rotunda said judicial campaign contributions constitute or appear to constitute a tacit quid pro quo in which the judge favors or tilts towards the contributor-litigant.
Heres where most of the Terri Schiavo Insurance money went:
These funds, the result of a malpractice suit, were meant solely to provide for Terri Schiavos care and rehabilitation.

Terri Schiavo had sustained a serious brain injury as the result of a suspicious incident in their home in 1990 and in 1992,
her husband had filed claims against several of her former doctors, claiming her collapse was caused by a misdiagnosis.
He received over $1.5 million in 1993 including $750,000 which had been specifically earmarked by the trial jury for Terris rehabilitation based on a life expectancy of 50 years.
Mary and Bob Schindler Sr., her parents, consulted a St. Petersburg attorney about removing Michael Schiavo as their daughters guardian and discussed the case at length with him.
Unfortunately, the Schindlers did not have the amount of money the attorney demanded as a retainer to take the case.
That attorney became the judge in the case-----a totally prohibited conflict of interest.
Thereafter, the attorney-judge approved the hiring of George Felos as the attorney for Schiavo to be paid from the trust fund and the stage was set for her judicial homicide.
The judge wasnt George W. Greer.
It was Mark I. Shames.
The money was then diverted to the Judicide G reer.

Probably most every other lawyer in the area did too, including some of her parents lawyers.
It's not about judicial kickbacks, it's about Judicial-Fatwah FORCED Murder by Extreme Torture.
It's about the fact that DEATH BY STARVATION was used by the Nazis for anyone daring to escape the Crematoria.
What is all that ?
show me the proof and I'll consider it. Until then, Greer refusing to (1) recuse himself or (2) notify the Schindlers' counsel that he had accepted money from their opponents, so they could file a motion to replace him, is unethical and inappropriate.
If he had Christian-based pro-life beliefs and had written a book about it, that would have been all over the mainstream media and he would have been labeled as a radical biased pro-life Christian. Yet somehow no one really cares when someone is biased by their New Age beliefs and writes a book about how they get a charge of power from euthenizing others.
But... can't you see the blissful euphoria in the faces of the Nazi death camp victims? They were lawfully being starved to death, and therefore it was perfectly permissible!
This may indeed be the beginning of the end of this nation. Too many people are willing to accept an innocent woman being starved/dehydrated to death because the 'law' might (and I stress might) have been followed.
How would the MSM be covering this story if Terri was a Black Woman?

BINGO! FOLLOW THE MONEY! That's what it's ALWAYS about isn't it?
Doctor Mengele conducted similar experiments on concentration camp prisoners. He is having a Hell of a time in Hell right now.
Does anyone know if Teri has a life insurance policy that Michael is the beneficiary of? I'm talking over and above the money that was won in the lawsuit. I'm talking about the kind of policy husbands and wives usually get for one another?

One such foundation is George Soros´s Open Society Institute (OSI). The OSI, through its Project on Death in America, gives millions of dollars for enhancing end-of-life care and none of the Project´s money is used for assisted suicide purposes. But the OSI provides grants for assisted suicide advocacy through OSI´s President´s Fund in its U.S. Programs office.
http://www.soros.org/>OSI´s stance also illustrates another aspect of support for the ´right to die,´ namely, that funders generally see a great distinction between euthanasia and assisted suicide. As Gara LaMarche, director of U.S. programs for OSI, puts it, ´We never use the word ´euthanasia´ around here.´

Each one of these myths is refuted by FACTS on this website. Yet none of this is being reported by the media! (Scroll down to the refutation of Myth #1 on the website)
Myth 10) Terri M. Schindler-Schiavo is PVS (Persistent vegetative state)
Myth 9) Terri does not need rehab
Myths 8 and 7) Removal of food was both legal and court-ordered.
Myth 6) State Attorney, Bernie McCabe (Pinellas-Pasco, 6th Circuit State ATTY) does not have the authority [to investigate...]
Myth 5) The Adult Protective Services can't do anything because the "matter is in court
Myth 4) Florida Governor, Jeb Bush does not have the authority to act in this matter: It is left up to the Courts
Myth 3) The Florida Legislature can only pass laws, so they've done all they can do for Terri Schiavo
Myth 2) The local police can't do anything: It is "still in court"
Myth 1) The news media is really trying to expose the truth
I listened to his pathetic press conference yesterday, where he actually said that Terri was more peaceful looking that he had ever seen and was in no pain. I would like this lying weasel to do a fast for just 25 hours, as in a Tisha b' Av fast, where you not only fast from food, but water as well. I have done this, and I can tell you that the roof of your mouth gets so dry that your tongue sticks to it. It is not painless as he depicted...
There has been alot of scrutiny of the malpractice trust fund, Michael Schiavo's finances and the Felos donation to Greer. Nobody has even mentioned the Schindlers and their Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation, Inc. Given their massive amount of support, one must assume that they also enjoy some massive fund raising. Some questions do arise.
THE TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FOUNDATION, INC.
At the above link you will find the Foundation's non profit status in the State of Florida. The Schindlers, all four of them (sister's name is Carr now) and only the Schindlers control the money. Donations to non-profits are tax deductible according to the IRS.
At the above link they state that donations are NOT tax deductible. They claim that they are not a tax exempt organization. Why? The IRS explains why a tax exempt status would change. The Internal Revenue Code allows for tax exempt status for many types of organizations which operate for various nonprofit purposes. Generally, no part of the net earnings of such organizations may inure to the benefit of any private individual or shareholders or the organization.
Seems that the shareholders may be enuring some unallowable benefits. Of course, if your NOT a non-profit or tax exempt organization, nobody can look at your books. So what's up here?
They are right about one thing, the IRS hasn't got them on the non profit list. But the other name, Life Legal Defense Foundation, IS a non profit out of Napa, California. So why are donations not tax deductible? Usually one registered IRS non profit entity would "umbrella" the other. Somebody is making big money at the Schindler site it appears. IRS Charity Search
