Every kind of caliber, every type of crime, and many still marked with the blood of their victims.

If these guns were used in violent crimes, they would not be destroyed... they would be evidence that must be retained.

They are merely confiscated guns... probably not used in crime.

most cops I know already have a cheapo gun to plant on someone who accidently comes up clean in a search. They keep it right next to their film canister of dope.

Once a rookie cop was being questions by the prosecutor. He told what happened, without embellishment, just the facts.

The prosecutor said in an anguished voice, "Request permission to approach the bench."

All charges were then dropped.
