Dow Jones News Reports at 11:39 "DJ Singapore Official: 7.5 Quake Hits Sumatra - Kyodo"
No other reports yet.
What makes those religious anomalies extra-stupid is that the quake today was directly under a predominantly Protestant Christian island.
Be careful saying that on this thread...someone will tattle on you. Only certain people are allowed to post things off topic...you may or may not be one of them. I don't know..just a word to the wise.
By the way, I agree with you.
You are correct that the studies do not show an increase.
However, tell that to my mother, who runs admitting at the local hospital. There are always more calls, runs, people coming in etc. on full moon days.
And, considering all this goes into the computer, she has the data to prove it; it is not just a hunch.
Of course, the idea that full moons have something to do with earthquakes is preposterous.
Hmm....this page says the interval is 120 years between earthquakes greater than 6.5, and that the last one occurred 66 years ago.

Isn't there still a lot of time left, or is this info outdated based on recent discoveries?
Greater than 6.5
120 years
66 years

No it does not. Its called the SIN OF OMISSION. I am not saying that it is directed specifically at those poor people, but to all Christians as a warning that you to will suffer along with those who committed the act.
Re your #94 -
"I was just on the verge of pre-declaring the first person who connected this quake with Terri an idiot, to save myself time..."
Sounds like a reasonable thing to do...
Did you see where some Mullah took a satilite picture of the tsunami and it spelled out in Arabic "Allah" or some such... Weird, huh?
Actually, I think God, Jupiter, or whoever is keeping score these days has something very special saved up for that little fiasco.
Stay Tuned, America.
Well? where is it?
WA faces tidal surge after quake
March 29, 2005

A TEN-centimetre tsunami rolled into the remote Cocos Island early today following a powerful earthquake off Indonesia, Australian authorities said.
"The Bureau of Meteorology has reported a 10cm tsunami was measured by the tide gauge at Cocos Island," Geoscience Australia said.
The meteorology service said it expected the small tidal surge to reach Australia's west coast about 4am (WST) and take two to three hours to wash up and down the coast.
Cocos was hit by a 50cm tsunami following the December 26 earthquake off Sumatra, but no damage was caused.
Cocos Island lies south of Sumatra in the Indian Ocean.
Notice the post that I sent you just before this one was 666. Maybe someone is trying to tell you something.
OK, let me get this straight; a quake hit an island full of Christians in Indonesia as punishment for..not saving Terri Schiavo? Not donating enough money to the Church?
I expect there was one, along the coast of Sumatra well south of Banda Aceh and North of Padang. No foreign media there.
>>expert Kerry Sieh told journalists in Los Angeles.<<
His name is Kerry, what do you expect?
Oh. 10 centimeters.
Kerry Sieh personally saved thousands of lives in Indonesia during the first quake by holding meetings and distributing warning fliers over the preceeding years regarding tsunamis and what to do.
Guess we'll have to wait to hear. (thanks for the info)
Lighten up, my friend. I have nothing against the expert, I was just kidding!
