Women with eating disorders can lose 30% of their bone mass in a year. (Her medical chart also shows her to be undernourished and low in calcium.)
And the only broken bones she had, according to the full deposition of the radiologist was:
- a compression/hairline fracture in lumbar 1, which he said could have happened when she fell (a lot of us are walking around with those - my sister is in her 30s and has numerous ones just from daily living)
- some of her ribs and the parts of the thoracic vertebra they were connected to in the back, which is extremely common after CPR, even in people with strong bones.
That's it.
There would also have been outward signs like bruising had she been attacked, and it would no way explain such "severely" low potassium.
Even Dr. Baden, in the last few weeks, has said everything was consistent with bulimia. His earlier comments were based only on the bone scan... and he misread it at that, thinking it showed a head injury. It doesn't. (see link to greer and unedited bone scan deposition below)
Her knee x-ray showed nothing.

The Schindler attorney admitted the bone scan had been available to them and did not even try to say it was kept secret.

What the???
It sounds like Mikey took a baseball bat to her.

- think that people living in Terri's condition have no rights & it is OK to slowly starve & dehydrate them to death (convenience issue).
- or - due to whatever reason, they accept the facts as Judge Greer is ruling on them & don't care to learn all the other facts out there before swallowing such a large pill (complacency issue).
- or they think, as Michael Shiavo says, that Terri would have wanted it this way (see the point above this one - same issue).
Either way, it's a sad day for America, she hangs her head in shame today.

The court records indicate the parents did not have any qualms with Michael until he refused to share 50% of the malpractice settlement. The courts *have* heard all these accusations and properly addressed them.

Excerpts of Michael Schiavo's July 27, 1992 Deposition
CIRCUIT COURT OF THE SIXTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT
STATE OF FLORIDA IN AND FOR PINELLAS COUNTY
PROBATE DIVISION
CASE NO. 90-2908-GD3 January 24, 2000
BEFORE: GEORGE W. GREER Circuit Court Judge
PLACE: Clearwater Courthouse
Clearwater, FL 33756
Q Michael, tell me what occurred on
11 February 25, 1990.
12 A I got home late from work that night. I
13 came in the house. Terri woke up. She heard me.
14 I gave her a kiss good night. She gave me a kiss
15 good night. A few hours later, I was getting out
16 of bed for some reason and I heard this thud. So
17 I ran out into the hall and I found Terri on the
18 floor. I knelt down next to her and I turned her
19 over because she sort of fell on her face. On her
20 stomach and face.
21 I turned her over going, "Terri, Terri.
I wouldn't hold out any hope that Terri's body will be examined before cremation. Or that cremation will be prevented, since Jeb Bush told reporters yesterday that he has no power against a judicial order, and the court has decreed that Terri's body will be cremated.
There is the very real possibility of congressional or criminal investigations. If the hospice would terminate them for telling the truth, then that hospice needs to be investigated.
Bet he don't plan to have his self cremated
Lord, give us strength and courage to carry on. Still praying for a miracle.
"The people who have worked with Terri who are still there, they cannot talk to reporters - they would be terminated."
Oh well. So much concern for Terri (sarcasm).
The Shindler lawyers need to be filing some papers to get that body or all their claims will be bogus.
Just another issue Judge Greer will thwart.
I would think that staff can't talk to reported without breaking the law. There are strict confidentiality laws out there that makes it hard to share any information on any patient. Heck I even had to get my sons Father in-law to give permission to the Red Cross in order to verify the death of my sons Mother in-law. The hospitals aren't allow to share any information due to laws that were legislated during the Clinton Administration.
Haven't these nurses been debunked? Did they ever testify under oath in the witness box?
