WASHINGTON The Defense Department admitting that internal breakdowns delayed its response to a March 14 anthrax scare at the Pentagon and nearby office buildings is changing how it handles biohazard threats.
Military officials said they will quicken reporting of test results from biological sensors around their Arlington, Va., headquarters to no more than 24 hours, and shift away from using contract laboratories. It took three days to get results from a contractor after the March 14 incident.

This is still an unresolved situation: was it a drill ? a false alarm ? an actual attack ??
The news reports are confusing-and at variance with what is published in the ProMed disease reporting site.
First, every test will have to go through the FBI to see if there's a disgruntled middle aged white male involved. Then they'll have to check it out with Barbara Hatch Rosenburg.
As that old rap group Public Enemy one said: "don't believe the hype, it's a sequel."
