Yes, I approve of the policy of not granting citizenship to those who immigrated there when it was occupied by the Soviet Union. It was the Soviet Union (which you defend) which made these people citizens, it was not Latvia.

Russians who can speak Latvian would rather turn down citizenship than accept this? Sounds like they are the ones who screwed themselves.

That's like making American born Hispanics apply for citizenship. That is racist and if you cannot see it you are blind.

Russians are as likely to speak Latvian as Anglos are to speak Creole or Esperanto. It is not a very useful skill.
