Amen Pegita.
I agree! Freepers, here's a question no one seems to have the answer to: what is the earliest possible time that Terri could be grabbed to have the tubes reinserted? Would that have to wait until the judges decide the underlying issue? Or could the judges order the tubes reinserted immediately while they evaluate the underlying issue? have the Schindlers' lawyers made a separate motion to have the tubes reinserted while the judges evaluate the underlying issue. Please, anybody who has the answers (or guesses) to these questions, please post.
If you want to get news in your email, you can join: google alerts: Terri Schiavo. But, please stick around here too. I'm going on break. I was up until 4:30 am -I'm feelin' it right now. I hope to go back to COP WORLD later today.
FREEPS ARE THERE I SHOULD CHECK ON. FV
Is our government so impotent and incompetent that a citizen can lose their life before the eyes of the whole world while so many doubts remain unresolved? Mere citizens may nullify the law in a specific case, as jurors, but the Chief Executive Officer, who presides over the branch entrusted with law enforcement, cannot halt an errant case and require an investigation? When Governor Bush expressed his lack of faith in the FL courts and legislature last week by requesting federal assistance that should have been a clear indication that he felt that the federal Constitution has been ignored and violated in a manner that's endemic in the system.
A state of emergency exists here that includes ongoing civil disobediance resulting in children being arrested, people being tasered and other citizens being denied access to their loved ones in Woodside Hospice. The inability of a private citizen's lawyer to present a sound appeal in the face of apparent systemic corruption should not be the excuse for letting this situation continue to spiral out of control while the disabled subject of it all is killed by court order.
I renew my request that you seek out that young man from Colorado (the one who is goose-stepping and giving the Nazi salute to the cops) who is very brave, gets it and should be careful. Please tell him, especially, "thank you" and "take care." You are there on the ground. Give him a hug too, would you?
I am in perfect agreement with you.
They have to reintroduce fluids slowly.

Most impressively stated!!!!!!!
Did anyone get Santorum's comments? I recorded it but haven't had time to look at it.
They look like fools....because of their actions, this has turned into a shameful tragedy. Especially the cowardly Republicans. Which brings me to Jeb. A strong governor gets things through the legislature. Either he didn't make a strong case, or he's not respected enough to sway the vote. Has he done something to tick off the Republicans and this is payback?
do you think that the Fed Appeals court is meeting right now, and we just don't know about it? or is there a way we would know they are in session???
Jeb has expressed concern for the Schindlers...and for Michael Schiavo. That tells me all I need to know about his level of understanding and commitment.
I think it polls, Jrabbit. Sadly, I think it's just the damned polls.
When we come together with our words of prayer.
I'm sitting here and nodding up and down and saying, Yes! Amen! Praise the Lord!!!
These are Holy Spirit breathed words up to the Lord!
He is pleased with unity! Let's keep our eyes on this today!!!
Hallowed be Thy Name O Lord!!!
Nurture Terri, Father!
Hedge her about and hold her close!!!
I have to believe that the Appeals Court will move quickly, else why have agreed to hear this at all? Anyone agree?
not only that, but I'm finding I have an absolute antipathy towards "chicken rights", as well.
shame on the fl senate. is it too much to hope that their ability to eat, drink at their lunch break gives them greater clarity and ability to deal justly toward a starving FL woman and her family?
YES!!!
YES!!!
YES!!!
Yes. Perhaps it's the new argument presented. Perhaps it's the one of two judges who ruled in favor before. We can only pray there is a hope here.
