So, Jeb "calling out the troops" to go up against armed police officers doing THEIR duty seems like a reasonable thing to you? All it would take is one misfire, or one nut in teh crowd to do something stupid, and then people die.

That may seem reasonable to you, but it seems like defeating the purpose to me. How many people would have to die before you are satisfied he did all he could?

I think the point is, if you "call out the troops", innocent people can get hurt (including TS, btw). He can't "send in the troops" because he doesn't have the legal backing. The only way TS should come out of that hospice is with the full compliance of all of the law enforcement there. Jeb Bush is being a sane, rational person. He's not willing to risk a lot of innocent lives, unlike Reno. To me, that is the measure of "balls".
