I wouldnt mock them either. The same Bible that tells us to go into our closet to pray and not in public to impress others, says you don't light a candle and then hide it.
Sorry I ran out on you. Had to go back to church (third service today). Yes, we do tend to pick and choose the Scripture that we want to believe. "Proof texting" makes us all feel "right". I think God put the Bible together that way on purpose. The debate has kept us interested all these millenia. Cool huh?
