Which could be a great basis for a lawsuit by the Schindlers.
this crowd in Florida is not about assisted suicide, they are proponents of active and court-ordered euthanasia! Lets call it what it is......Schiavo was ORDERED directly, not merely "allowed". see "shall cause"......not "may"......so the legal precedent/case law is set!
"ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that absent a stay from the appellate courts, the guardian, Michael Schiavo, shall cause the removal of nutrition and hydration, from the Ward, THERESA SCHIAVO, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2005."

The Rule of Terri's Case Strikes Again. -2004- Judge Greer's crimes
Law changed by Hospice where Terri is dying
MICHAEL SCHIAVO'S lies and contradictory testimony in easy to read format
Will Schaivo receive any money from a life insurance policy when Terri dies?
Michael probably plans to recoup the money with the book he will write telling about his "heroic" struggle to off his wife.
I trust there are attorneys on Free Republic that will have an answer.
I pray that some of these attorneys will join together for a legal fight that will win for Terri in death, she surely did not win in this life.
She is in God's hands now.
FYI
I'ts simple ,...he sued for the money to keep her alive , before he sued to keep the money and let her die. ,....sound familiar ?
This case stinks more and more each day. This case is built on Michael Schiavo's lie and the money he stole from Terri to pay the lawyers that want to kill Terri.
Greer is as corrupted as they come.
Unless they UNSEAL the financial and medical records we will never know the truth. Greer would NOT unseal this information to DCF so it made it impossible to prove any "medical" abuse or anything else. The Shindlers have NEVER had access to Terri's medical records.
Has anybody seen an accounting of where the money went for The Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation? And why contributions are no longer tax deductable? And why they are no longer a tax exempt entity? Ask the Schindlers. All four of them, and only them, are in charge of the foundation.

Unintended consequences: Frivilous lawsuits by the Schindlers ate up their daughter's money.

"Brain dead" has a very specific clinical meaning, and is not the same as PVS:
"Neuroscience experts continue to define brain death as irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain, including the brain stem. This definition remains consistent with the definition of brain death initially presented by the Presidents Commission for the Study of Ethical Problems in Medicine and Biomedical and Behavioral Research.1,13"

The mispending of the care trust. Michael Shiavo's lawyer being on the board of the hospice...and now word that there may be an issue of judges, including the main one, having investments in a group that devlopes hospices.....
AND THE IDEA OF AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE MATTER SEEMS VERY REASONABLE.
No update MRIs allowed. No real feeding attempts. No videos allowed. No therapy attempts allowed.
Judge rules in favor for the husband...based only on his hearsay.
Judge won't allow follow up evaluation by other neurosurgions who state that the first diagnosis was off.
There needs to be an investigation.
Someone on Fox News last week said that the hospice has been footing the bill for Terri's care, but wouldn't Medicare and her Social Security disability be used for her care as well? My oldest sister is in a nursing home and her disability check goes directly to the home for her care and needs.
Wonder what the $55,000 "other" was to Southtrust Bank?
Philadelphia Insurance does not do retail insurance. They are in the Commericial Insurance business. Some of the things Philadelphia Insurance does is provide liability insurance to to Lawyers, Day Care Centers, Mental Health providers and to Boards of Directors (as in, say, hospices). What was Michael Schiavo's expertise that led him into this business? Who bankrolled him? Why did Philadelphia buy his company? What did they think they were getting? Did they get a good deal? Did they get scammed?
