She is not being killed for practicing her Christian faith. This is not martyrdom for which a person becomes a saint.
I'm curious, What do you think others will be inspired to do?
Praying for her will produce visions and miracles? This sounds like you would turn Terri into an idol to be worshipped.
How does this glorify God?
Is this orthodox Catholic belief?

"She is not being killed for practicing her Christian faith."

Notwithstanding...

"This is not martyrdom for which a person becomes a saint."

I didn't suggest Sainthood.

"I'm curious, What do you think others will be inspired to do?"

What do you think? Watch more Rikki Lake?

"Praying for her will produce visions and miracles?"

Yes, as prayer has been known to do just that. (But obviously we need to wait and see...)

"This sounds like you would turn Terri into an idol to be worshipped."

We don't pray to her, we pray for her.

"How does this glorify God?"

The specific question was why would the Vatican so bless her - what's the purpose. The purpose of everything we do - everything - is for God's glory.

"Is this orthodox Catholic belief?"

Roman. I don't know what 'orthodox Catholic' means, but the term itself is misleading, as only the Roman brand originates from Rome of course.
