(Attorney)Weller said Terri cried when her mother hugged her Saturday night. "She knows what's going on. She was trying to vocalize something with Mary."
"The governor should know that Terri still knows who her mother is, and she's extremely distressed," Weller said. "She's not a vegetable who doesn't know what is happening."
Paul O'Donnell, a Roman Catholic Franciscan monk, said the family unsuccessfully urged Michael Schiavo to allow his wife the sacrament of communion during the holiest feast of the Catholic year. She received last rites the day the feeding tube was pulled.
"This is in violation of her religious rights and freedoms and allows the governor to ... intervene," O'Donnell said, repeating the family's request that the governor take Schiavo into protective custody. "We beg you to have courage and take action."

Another Mary had to watch her child suffer and die, after being sentenced to death. And during this very week. Jesus' mother.

So who do we contact to get him excommunicated by the Lutherans?
It'd be nice.
To: Ohioan from Florida
If you're still there...
Take care and God bless you.

That wouldn't surprise me. Michael wants to rid himself of every memory and attachment to Terri. He's shown her no respect in life, would we expect him to show it in death?
There is a whole bleacher section ready in hell for Michael and his co-conspirators.

Herr Schiavo told his best friend Larry that Terri was not a good Catholic.

Yes. This is his masterpiece. He loves to see her die. He loves death. He knows to whom death belongs.

I'm not sure which is worse, the Greer/Felos/Schiavo axis of evil or their supporters who ridicule us while she lays dying. """
Or a Republican governor and Republican president who are letting this atrocity happen.

"BTW, the news said they're giving her morphine now. I thought they said she couldn't feel any pain?? "
It's normal that they give morphine in the final stage where breathing becomes more labored. The reason? To hasten death. The morphine makes breathing more difficult. They gradually increase the dosage, which considering that her kidneys have likely shut down by now, causes a buildup leading to an overdose.
My question is... One of Felos' arguments was that the tube feeding of Terri was considered to be a "medical treatment" and that no further medical treatments were allowed. Is not the administering of morphine not a "medical treatment"? In reality though, the morphine might as well be a lethal injection in Terri's current state.

It's total inversion. Peter Kreeft in one of his books has a little chart showing that.
Blessed Easter to you.

The level of desperation and emotion is not to be believed. I think all reason went out the window today.

You should send that to Hannity and O'Reilly. They're both Catholics. I played footbal against Hannity's high school when he was there. I don't know if he played. He went to St. Pius X and I went to St. Agnes Cathedral.
As for Terri, I now pray she passes quickly. Since no one can prove she cannot feel pain, I must assume she does.

If President Bush would only use the bully pulpit to rally the country to Terri's "defense", I think this whole situation could still be saved. I think people all over the nation are very distressed by the legal condemnation of this innocent and helpless woman to death at the hands of her callous husband, all they need is someone to lead the fight to rescue her from this awful predicament. And president Bush should be the one vocally and on television leading this mission.
This is becoming obvious toan increasing number of people every day that a terrible miscarriage of justice is taking place here, and MUST BE STOPPED NOW!!!!

Okay... so where are all the members of the "Michael Schiavo couldn't have been as bad as everyone says" club now?Oh yeah, he's a total bastard, isn't he?
Felos said that Michael Schiavo has been at his wife's bedside around the clock, except when her other family members want to visit.

The family claimed Schiavo tried to say "I want to live" hours before her tube was removed, saying "AHHHHH" and "WAAAAAAA" when asked to repeat the phrase.
