Seeing that he isn't Roman Catholic, I don't think so. I don't understand RC practices, but I did read that Terri had to get some sort of permission to marry Michael Schiavo who is not a RC. Maybe some of our Catholic posters here could explain this better than myself.

It has been posited several times that Michael's live-in is a Catholic (albeit a divorced one) who wants a church wedding. If she obtains an annulment from the first husband, they could be married in the Church regardless of Michael's affiliation.

I grant this is speculation -- my comments regarding any future marital status for Michael are driven by disgust and disillusionment with almost everyone involved in this sordid case.
