If every law enforcement officer thought like that, there would never be any
police action anywhere.

Of course, there is always a danger of something going wrong!

But that doesn't forbid the possibility of action.

Right now, Terri Schiavo is in her last hours of life.
If she doesn't get water into her body soon, it will be too late.

Governor Bush needs to enforce the laws of the State of Florida, and defend its Constitution.

That is his right, and his SWORN AND SOLEMN DUTY.

If he refuses to act, he has disgraced his office.

Just my opinion.

Yes, just an opinion. It seems that the people in Florida actually looking through the laws, trying to find a way to act have come up with exactly squat.

Sending the national guard in to attempt a rescue sets a very dangerous precedent. I also question the legality of such a move. It might seem like a good idea, but do we really want to go there?
