I'm not diagreeing with you at all, but what should Republicans do to fight back other than demand up or down votes on judges. I wish they could force the judges to follow the law rather than make it up as they go, but not sure what they can do in the immediate?

Not much other than political impeachments of offending jurists. It's not like Gov Bush wants to establish himself as dictator and eliminate the courts altogether. I hope one of the things that comes out of this is a discussion about reigning in the judiciary.

Cut off all funding. Make them broke, and lock them out of their offices.
