Matthew,
It doesn't matter what you want.
It doesn't matter what I want.
The only thing that matters is what Terri wanted!!!
The husband and the parents have a bitter dispute about what Terri's wishes were. And they have battled it out in the courts for many years. The courts have the job of weighing the evidence on both sides and coming to a conclusion on what Terri's final wishes were.
Do you find it inconceivable that a person would not want to continue to exist in a vegetative state, unable to think, let alone interact with the environment?
How about you?
How about simple compassion for your loved ones??? Would you like your spouse, children, parents to suffer the agony that the Schindlers & Schiavos have endured???
Wouldn't it be generous and compassionate of you to want to move on to the next world and let your survivors move on with their lives?
Would you put your family through this kind of horror?

the problem is that there is no living will and only 7 year after the fact hearsay.
i personally would want to be kevorkianed, but many people don't . if we assume that everyone would want to be killed lets kill all the Alzheimer's,Parkinson's etc patient's we could save SS and medicare.
