OK, I'll rephrase it... Jeb has no moral convictions and is afraid of a silly little judge. Millions of Americans have fought and died, here and abroad, to preserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and Jeb is afraid to get a little red X on his political report card for saving an innocent life. Therefore, I think Jeb is a weak noodle.

Up till then, it was common belief that doctors, et al, would do everything they could to save your life...unless you wrote down otherwise.

It pretty much looks like if you DON'T have your wishes put down, anyone can have you killed, if they ask the right judge. At least, that is one of the precedents being set right now. I wouldn't be surprised if, at some point, the wishes of the patient become totally irrelevant in the decision to kill him or her.

"Which means the MSM may have just screwed the Dems in the long run if the Dems are operating on faulty date."

You're correct - and I'm counting on it. They will make the same mistake they did with Bubba. The dems were the only ones who didn't know the American people gave Bubba a personal rating of 25% - when he left office.

As for Pat saying anything else that was good - he was mainly focusing on these polls and how far from reality they were. And .. he was quite upset with their deception.

But my focus has been on this new talking point of "over-reaching". The dems are trying to paint the repubs as abusing their power. So .. I have been hammering FOX with the Article III question - why don't our elected senators and representatives KNOW THEY HAVE AUTHORITY OVER THE COURTS. I mean .. if you're going to run for a public office - maybe you better find out what your authority is ..?? Geeeeee what a concept.

I also told FOX to have at least one of their employees read "Men in Black" so they could ask more intelligent questions regarding the Congressional authority over the courts.

We're not being like those judges. Those judges are killing, we are saving. There is a HUGE difference.

Jeb could defy the court, which is not "lawless" so long as he can explain himself well enough to the legislature to avoid impeachment. If he is carrying out the legislature's law, they are unlikely to impeach.

There ought to be a nationwide database for these documents, and a Federal law governing the way they are to be interpreted. Otherwise if you're traveling through Florida and become incapacitated you could be in for a rude, dry, hungry surprise.

Well .. like I said you're entitled to your opinion.

I just wish people would stop expecting public officials to break the law just to satisfy their little whim.

As for Jeb's MORAL convictions - I think you're way off base.

And .. as Governor - being impeached for breaking the law is not considered a "little red X" in anybody's book.

Good for you. Fox has been as irresponsible as the rest of the MSM. They have shown their own lack of knowledge of the case. Ex. refering to her as braindead.

Keep hammering all of them on the Rights we have in the Constitution and the pro-Life rebuttal to the pro-Death agenda. When the MSM grows distracted, as they will, we'll keep hammering this home. Without their opposition we'll have the space we need to begin to educate.

Pat Cadell is one of the few commentators I adore. Speaks the Truth as he knows it. And He's a Democrat. Liberal Democrat. If Pat is worried about the manipulated polls, it's because he believes that is giving the Dems comfort to believe something that is untrue. Detrimental to them as a party.

I'm convinced this is all going to come back and kick them in the butt. The only question is how and when. But I encourage them to continue to 'educate' the American public on who they really are.

He can only do it when there is a window in the law. There was one earlier today but he had insufficient forces to meet El Presidente Greer's Banana Republic of Clearwater Posse.

Saving a life is my little whim? lmao! That's where you and I differ. I'd risk a lot to save a life.

Do you think getting impeached would somehow be the end of Jeb? We have an impeached president running around making millions and living the high life. I don't think it's such a bad deal. I'd say it would be a fair trade for a life. I'd do it in an instant.

Well .. I've about had it with the grandstanding left.

Felos 30 min press conference today was discussed on Fox as "unseemly" and "gloating". That is not good for the dems. So I agree this is going to bite them very badly.

Once again .. they have wrongly concluded they have BEATEN the evil Christians. Once again we will end up cleaning their clocks in 2006 - and re-establishing partial sanity to the court system.

If FOX weekend contributors are unhappy with Felos's speech, it must have been bad.

This is exactly why this is going to bite the Dems. They are going to attempt to ride a woman's death by starvation to power? What a strategy. Even better than relying on Bush hatred to save the day.

"I'd risk a lot to save a life"

Good for you - that's an admirable quality - but when you're the Governor - you should know you are required to UPHOLD THE LAW .. and I do believe Jeb takes that very seriously and so should you. You can't break the law [even for the right reasons] and then demand that Greer uphold the law while you broke it - it just won't work.

As for impeachment - Bill Clinton was one of America's worst Presidents. Just because people are stupid enough to pay to see him .. that doesn't mean that "impeachment" is a lark [which Clinton tries to make people believe] - but many World leaders have no respect for him. Bill lied in a court of law and as a result was impeached - and he lost his law license for 5 years - and he can never bring a case before the USSC. I don't call that the high life.

I didn't think about that - but I should have - it's one of my chief complaints. The weekends are so bad with liberals I can barely watch.

I agree. Jeb might have jumped in but then he'd be besieged every time there was a dispute of any life-and-death situation. The true remedy is with the people of Florida demanding the Florida legislature overturn George Felos's and Jim King's law declaring a feeding tube as an extraoardinary measure. Jeb would sign it in a heartbeat after this.

Unless without choice, I've limited my time on FOX to Gibson, Brit's show, or Hannity and Partner. I don't watch every day, or all these shows every day, but if I do watch they are the only ones I can tolerate.

IMO, FOX is center left. What the Dems used to be before they jumped on the Jane Fonda, Teddy Kennedy, Michael Moore, Clinton train.

Fox Weekends they lose the center.

I just had a thought. Perhaps that's partially why they hate FOX news. It isn't that they allow conservative voices, though that isn't welcomed, but they probably serve to remind of what they once were.

Would be nice to one day have a center right network.

But, all of that to save a life would be worth it. Bill did it for a... well you know...

Jeb would be upholding the law. Maybe not the law as the judge sees it, but the law as the legislature saw fit to write it.

"Jeb would be upholding the law"

No .. he would not .. BECAUSE THE JUDGE HAS ALREADY RULED "NO" UNDER THE NEW LAW - you can't uphold the law by breaking it - I think you have a screwed up concept of how the law works.

Start studying the Constitution - it will help that concept.
