And did the Nazis give their victims thousands of man-hours of legal representation by state and federal courts for years deciding whether or not the evidence of her wishes was sufficient? When we make comparisons like this we cheapen history and tell the world that Terri's plight cannot stand on its own merits.
My problem with this thing is that we don't know for sure what she wanted, we don't know if she is in a PVS, and I'm greatly bothered killing someone under these circumstances
I'm on Terri's side on this issue, but nevertheless, the courts have ruled, and unfortunately, if Terri would not have wanted this, it is done.

Again, though, I don't believe anyone is saying that this equates to what the Nazis did, merely that the reasoning is similar. The "they're better off dead", "they shouldn't live" argument.
Also, although there was a legal process in this case, it was completely shoddy in that the judge clearly is not interested in her actual condition, in that he disregards competent medical opinion to the contrary without having her re-tested. A life is in the balance, and he will not allow tests. The appellate courts defer to the trial judge in part because the standard of review is so high.
I disagree that this is not a historical issue. It is proven that if man does not learn from past mistakes he will again make them. Our world is again being setup for mass extermination of those unwanted by society. Right now it's abortion, those in coma's, PVS, etc. But in hitler's time he made all those around him believe he was doing the world a favor by eliminating the unwanted.
Current activities in the world are pointing to the setup for christians to be next. It happens now in other countries, and it is starting here.
First, the attempts to remove us of our guns. Second, removing all reference to God anywhere in public. Third, money, Digital Angel, implanting people to keep track of them.
How many people would really be upset to see a few million christians permanetly shutup in this country? The hostility towards anyone who has values in this country is unbelievable.
