Look at the Statutes for protection of diabled adults! Failure to feed a disabled adult is criminal neglect, if death results it is manslaughter, and the PVS statute DOES NOT remove other statutory protections a disabled adult receives. The law is on the governor's side, if he would choose to use it.

I agree that the FL statute is on the Gov.'s side, but he's not willing to risk bloodshed to enforce it.

The judge overstepped his powers. It was a power play and Gov. Bush isn't willing to have others killed to reassert executive authority.

Of all the things that have frustrated me about this since the beginning this is at the top of the list! His own staff told him, and us, that he had not only the right, but an obligation to step in and take her into protective custody. And now this thing about the judge forbidding her family to feed her by mouth! How much of an outrage does it take to make someone, somewhere who has the will to act to do something to stop this megalomaniac?
