Surely you've heard of "checks and balances". When the judiciary is wrong, the peoples house and the executive branch can right the wrong. Letting this woman die of starvation is wrong, dead wrong. Surely, you understand this truth.

First, I believe in checks and balances, but I also believe Judge Greer's decision is legally and factually correct. (That's why it's been sustained upon appeal and review 11 times by other courts.)

Second, I think letting Terri die and be released from her pitiable state is the Biblically moral thing to do. (Mt 7:13).

Do you believe that Judge Greer's decision to forbid Mrs. Schiavo sustenance by mouth to be legal? If so, which law specifically are you thinking of that permits this?
