Santa Anna learned to regret winning the Alamo against those rabble texans.

It was just a little mission, who could have known?

Lets hope in a month or so freepers and other citizens of good cheer start calling a spade a spade and excoriate the evil leftist enemy at every opportunity.

The left may gloat when Terri dies, but will seek to blame the GOP if the GOP dares to mention her.

Then they will step back and ridicule the GOP for not saving her, which they surely would have done via Janet Reno if the situation were reversed.

It will take PATRIOTS to persevere over evil.

Perhaps we don't give a darn what the tea leaves say.

Instead we can understand that the tea we are looking at is poisoned.

And we as honest, caring Americans must find an antidote to this corruption of our judicial system that has failed one of the weakest among us.

It is getting worse:

A federally funded watchdog group is investigating the recent deaths of four disabled Floridians amid an aggressive campaign by the state to cut millions of dollars from programs that provide medical care for disabled people in community settings. Saturday, March 26, 2005 (Herald.com)

It is now open hunting season on the disabled and the helpless. I hope Judge Greer does not ever feel too disabled.

If Judge Greer were the patient and I ran the hospital, the term "disabled" wouldn't even be allowed in the medical dictionary.

It should really bother the MSM mediots that the public presumes the poll is rigged to favor the leftist position. It is always a question of HOW they achieved the desired poll outcome.

;-)

It makes one wonder. Christians have been about for 2000 years. The pro-Death crowd comes along, manages to kill a woman, and this is going to be the last straw. Why, they've run us off now!

I would remind when Christ was killed Christianity exploded. When Christians are persecuted their numbers increase. I beg of those on the opposite end. Persecute us. I don't fear you, I don't fear public opinion, I only fear my God.

I won't deny my heart breaks that Terri was sentenced to death. I won't deny my spirit was dented a bit that so many Americans have chosen Death. All that means is that I'll be a more vocal supporter of Life. Try and silence me. Try and silence those that know right from wrong, of whom not all are even Christian. Make us stronger by persecution.

It's not that I "refuse" to believe it. It's that the Sun Sentinel is Broward County's version of the New York Slimes. I take everything they print with a huge grain of salt, as I thought most Freepers did.

Having said that, I am also aware that many people on both sides of the political spectrum advocate Terri's death. And sadly, I am at a loss to explain that one.

I agree that you think not.

The "real story", as far as I'm concerned, could be as little as the fact that nobody really knows what her wishes are/were. This is a fact that EVERYONE admits (except her pathetic murdering ghoul of a husband).

If we are going to give death row killers every benefit of the doubt, don't you think that the same regard should be given to an innocent person?

How has Governor Bush's failure to defy Judge Greer and not have DCF take Terri Schiavo into protective custody affected your view of the Governor?

http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/poll?poll=89

I have lost a great deal of respect for him. Judges need to be reigned in. This was a good opportunity to do so.
27.8%

No change in respect, but he should have defied Greer.
25.8%

53.3 % on FR say Jeb should act.

But hey, it's just a FR poll.

NOT a BS MSM poll!

No, I think the neo-con war-mongers(of which you appear to be one)think they can invade another country, violate it's sovereignty and then get it to adapt Western-style democracy...I hope it does..because this country has paid an ENORMOUS price in lives and in money...It doesn't mean that all this will mean diddly squat in terms of our national security though....If you are in Iraq, keep your head down and stay safe...I don't want you dead from a person who apparently thinks like Judge Greer...

If you are proud of a nation that sits by and allows someone to be starved for less evidence than would be required for any other legal proceeding...you are one sick puppy...If you are the "new" thinking of the Republican Party, you do this country a diservice...

Umm...don't know much about the Florida Times Union, but the South Florida Sun-Sentinel is a liberal rag. Those poll results are expected.

It's very revealing, the msm never poll us Christians here in Florida! So they just get the result the media is looking for!!

The execution of Terri Schiavo helps us understand why the people of Jerusalem, living under occupation, were unable to stop the execution of Jesus.

I know that Terri's murder has great spiritual significance, more than I can understand. If you think about it, we should feel very sorry for the monsters who did this to our innocent little Sister. They are so proud and sure of themselves, even boastful. The Schindler's on the other hand have remained faithful and shown the world what Christians are made of. What a spiritual battle! And the Schindler's have won that battle, hands down! What an example!

Terri, of course, is PERFECT. What a trooper! God bless her. I am very jealous of her; she is about to leap into the Loving Arms of our Savior. Out of this dreary world and into the Celestial Kingdom.

If saying stuff like this makes me a kook, so be it. I'm a kook for Jesus Christ.
