I have now heard four former nurses speak regarding Terri and Michael. It was the opinion of all four that Terri is not in a PVS. Three said Terri can swallow, which is one of the main tests determining a PVS. They also stated Michael was a bully and controlling. He does not allow anyone to attempt to feed her, nor to give any water. Her only food and water is administered through the feeding tube. He has not allowed anyone to brush Terri's teeth resulting in the removal of 5 teeth. He does not allow anyone to open the drapes so light can get in the room, nor does he allow them to take her out of the room. He also erases many of the notes nurses have made in the medical records. He has denied her medical tests and treatment since 1993. I have to ask how anyone can defend this depraved monster?

It's a good question Gary, but many on here defend him vehemently, and call the rest of us "over the top".
