I totally agree and said so on another thread a couple of days ago.
Go for it Jeb, you have nothing to lose.
Thanks, but no thanks. I'll stand my ground.
One can only run so far, and for so long. Sooner or later you'll have nowhere to hide.
It's high time to to take a stand - or perish.

Well, being part of the "Scumbag death cult", I wouldn't know anything about anything except being a scumbag.
But I do remember watching my grandmother in a nursing home in quite a similiar state as Terri is. She lingered for 7 years, not talking, eating, acknowleging any of her family.
She had been a nurse and I often wonder how she thought about lingering on like that for so many years. She was 95 when she finally passed away
16 years ago last friday my Dad came home from work, went to bed and passed away early that morning in his sleep from congestive heart failure.
24 years ago on May 29 my son died at 2months of age from SIDS.
I am grateful that my Dad and my Son were able to leave us in a very quiet and peaceful way.
I guess that makes me a scumbag and gives me no reason to question why a Christian would even think to call me that without even knowing this much about me.
I stay pretty busy, plus I'm trying to stay out of this Right-to-life/Right-to-die debacle. I haven't seen FR this riled up since Elian.
Nice seeing you again.
They should have starved and dehydrated Elian.
I apoligize, my previous post was for Sinkspur.
You went through a terrible suffering with your father. My heart breaks for you and your family. And I thank you for your love for him in the end.
The GOP backed off because every religious nutcake within 3,000 miles is on this thing like white on rice. I'm not sure who to blame that on, though.
I would say it's a fair statement that allowing Randall Terry to participate didn't help any.
I would laugh at that because it's funny, but it ain't funny. Know what I mean, Gene?
Right.
Scoff now, your freedoms are circling the toilet.
"Get it through your heads people. The failure of President Bush and his brother Governor Bush to stand up to this tin horn tyrant in Pinellas County has effectively elevated the judiciary in America to the SUPREME branch of government. The executive and legislative branches are just there for decoration and ceremony now, and the coming years will prove these words true."
You will see this quote of yours again. I have saved it for posterity. I steal from the best.
Meanwhile, hyperbole is making a comeback.
Anyway, I have a living will and a power of attorney... DNR after a certain point because I died once, was brought back, and have no intention of going through that hell again.
Care to point to a groundbreaking case where a judge refused to uphold a living will and power of attorney? Or are using the crystal ball method, ie; "feelings" to get your point across?
My condolences to you and your sons on the loss of your wife.
God Bless you all.

In one breath some pray to save the starving people in the world and their next they ask for Terri to die like this.
One thing that comforts me is the hope and belief that inside Terri's spirit is perfect and no one can harm that.
Prayers for all.
Antiguv, I think you have nailed why these pro death people don't want to believe that Terri is suffering. They would rather bury their heads in the sand and pretend she is peaceful and call anyone a liar who says she is suffering. Much easier on the old conscience.
Where's Katie's lipstick camera when it could be truly useful?
