As Terri Schiavo enters what are thought to be her last hours of life, allegations of political corruption and obstruction of justice on the part of state officials raise questions as to whether the brain-injured woman's court-ordered death by starvation might serve to cover up crimes committed against her.
Criminal probes launched by two Florida agencies looking into allegations the incapacitated woman was abused, neglected and exploited were reportedly shut down, despite investigators' concerns.

Plausable deniability, if they don't look and cover their eyes, they didn't see anything. The three monkeys are ruling in Florida and have taken over the nation.
"ORDERED AND ADJUDGED That Respondents' Emergency Expedited Motion for Permission to Provide Teresa Schiavo with Food and Water by Natural Means is DENIED"
well someone's finally getting it!
What Greer is doing and all the courts have ignored is denying her the opportunity to have food or water by mouth. That is euthanasia and is not permitted under Florida law. Whether she could take water or not is immaterial and in any case we don't know what would happen, at least it would give her a chance and she has none right now. On this order at least the Shindler's have the law on their side -- giving water by mouth is not in any shape, fashion or form artificial life support as mentioned in the Florida statute. Any outcome of a trial of drinking, even death by choking, is preferable to what is going on now.
What I cannot figure out is why Jeb Bush and her parents are so focused on getting the feeding tube back in when it is clear that this will not happen when this other clearly illegal order by Greer is apparently going unchallenged.
The Empire Report seems to have dug up a lot of interesting facts.
How tragic, that the US Congress, when they tried to agree on the bill, went with the Senate Bill, which said the Schindlers "MAY" appeal to the Federal Courts, which turned them down, instead of the House Bill, which said that the Federal Courts HAVE to hear the case de novo. How much difference one word can make.

Danke ;)
And .. you continue to show your ignorance! Thank you!
He he. And you continue to show your stupidity.
See ya, Antie.
Knock it off.
Well .. I agree with you that there are so many illegals moves here .. it's hard to keep up.
I also disagree with a lot of people who believe the husband is the "caretaker". Suddenly the left is standing for the rights of MARRIAGE - while a few weeks ago - it was against it - as usual.
Michael may have the autority of the court to act in her behalf - but to me - having a FORMER spouse in charge of her is next to criminal. He's moved on - has another family - and I therefore do not believe he has a GOD-given right as a "husband" to prevail.
