I might be wrong but I detect a glaring difference between the rule of law and the rule of judges. When judges are given their judicial power, it is within the scope of the law. They are not handed power to establish their fiefdom outside the rule of law nor are they granted carte blanche powers of life and death.
For a judge to act outside of law is tyranny and those who acquiesce are tyrannical accomplices.
You are correct. The judges have usurped the powers of the executive and judicial branches and are becoming evermore bold and brazen in the exercising thereof.
You would be saying something completely different if the government used force against something you believed in, so quit being so self-righteous.
Yeah, well you're wrong. I'm an atheist, and I'm not going to tolerate religious fanatics impose their narrow world view on me.
Logic isn't your strong suit. The government is using force (in support of a court order) against the life of this innocent woman who is not otherwise dying.
If "the law" authorizes that, then the law must be opposed. Germans didn't oppose this kind of law in the 1930s either. I suppose they aren't teaching you that in your junior high school classes.
Sigh. Okay. You're right. There, do you feel better now?
Why don't you and your ilk grab torches and guns and break the walls to the hospice down and while you're at it grab a rope and string her lying, adulterous, murdering husband up, okay?
Why do you even bother to talk to me if 'Logic' isn't my strong suit?
I mean, really, 'Common Sense' doesn't appear to be one of yours.
By the way, the line about Junior High School has gotten quite a laugh on this end.
Post some more, because the rest of the guys in my 8th grade class didn't believe people like you existed until I showed them.
Yeah, I'm getting the message. Insanity has dropped like a cow plop onto FR.
Well, you're a big dooty-head.
Amen!
Good attitude, but based on Florida, don't hold your breath.
A positive suggestion!
Deb, I sincerely hope you enjoy your ignorance to the fullest, for as long as possible.
When you eventually comprehend the insanity of what you supported, seek elsewhere for forgiveness.
I want you to know I would never wish anyone to have to suffer through what Terri Schiavo, her family and friends have gone through these last ten years.
I also sincerely hope the shame you will one day suffer for your loud and willfull ignorance, is just as mindlessly and painfully prolonged as the government ordered murder of a severely disabled woman, who has committed no crime against society.
You're an idiot, your post proves it, and you can take your "sincere hopes" and shove 'em.
Who is worse? Michael Schiavo or the governor who protected his killing?
Stuff it.
I have NOT "blamed" Jeb Bush for anything.
And your disjointed postings on this issue prove you to be a flighty and ignorant person.
It is you Deb, and those of your ilk I "blame" as unindicted co-conspirators in this heineous injustice.
Not only for this particular woman, but to those silently came before her, and those who will most certainly come after her death, in ever increasing numbers.
Enjoy your apparant giddiness at Terri's expense.
"Blaming Jeb" was the topic you butted into, but I couldn't care less what you think. You're the one who called me "crazy" when I wasn't addressing you. So, pull up your skirts and run along, there's probably another conversation you can intrude on.
