After September 11th, my children came up to me afraid to go to school because they thought they might be attacked by terrorists and I assumed that I had all the answers. I could explain how far away from anything important we live and how many times they were more likely to be struck by lightning than hurt by a terrorist, but they still want to play in the rain. I would then open the newspaper, or turn on the television and show them all the steps the government was taking to protect them, "See all those soldiers? Every one of them wants to protect you." My words soothed them, but seeing action being taken by our elected officials on the news had a tangible impact on them that something was being done about a problem in a way my words never could.
However, now I am out of answers. My daughter came up to me and asked why the courts were killing Terri Schiavo.

Only church kids know "evil". Most respond well to bad or very bad. It takes a while to know breaking God's laws define evil.
Look at her face again and go to bed tonight and dream that you are right....but then again, what if you are wrong?
I would like the killers to see a poster of Terri every day of their remaining natural life if she is murdered.

There is a clear division of informed medical opinion on whether Terri is PVS, including renowned neurologists. At a minimum, the issue of her physical and mental condition needs/needed to be addressed before a final order to pull the feeding tube.
And even if found PVS, letting the Schindlers care for her would harm no one.
There is no definitive proof that Terri wanted to die if she ended up in this condition, except the word of an adulterous and likely abusive husband. Further, her religiion proscribes it.
Terri will be with God soon, but she was sent to Him prematurely by evil men. The kids need to know that evil people are out there. Some of them fly planes into buildings full of innocent people. Some of them wear black robes. Sometimes they're even people you think you know.
The kids also need to know that there are those like you who will search high and low to excuse the unforgivable.
A copy of her picture should be displayed by someone everyday in front of the court in Florida from now and until Judge Greer's death.
Needs to be repeated often.

What proudmilitarymrs is saying is, tell your daughter to not be so sensitive to other's plight. If we tell ourselves that she has no awareness, then we don't have to wonder if she really does. And proudmilitarymrs's philosophy can really work for America, it worked in Germany in the 30's and 40's of the 20th Century, and it works on some Islamic countries today.

Michael Savage would favor activist judges if they were conservative activist judges.
Which is why this whole Terri Schaivo case has turned my stomach.

But I think this person's daughter has a pretty good grasp at what is happening.

How could the judge possibly explain that to the three-year-old on the House Committee on Government Reform who wrote that request?
Seems I recall that when one meets the maker this statement may be made: Depart from me, I know you not. I was thirsty and you gave me no water.
But you are also right rocksblues, how we judge others is how wwe will be judged.
I try to console myself by realizing somehow (though I can't figure it out), this is all part of God's Master Plan. Something is at work here. Look at how this country has turned completely upside down within the past three decades.
God is up to something. Watch and see.
The issue: Why can the Judicial Branch control the Legislative and Executive Branch? The Republic could die with the death of Terri!
But then again maybe we can defeat Hillary in 2008!

Terri is being killed because she cannot raise her hand to her mouth..
