You could try DU -over there they are quite proud of thier logic and critical thinking -principles are not absolute and neither is morality... Death by starvation seems to require quite oa bit of logic and critical thinking that escapes many on FR...

My daughter asked me this as well. She is 16. I told her that it was because the people doing it did not see Terri as completely human.

My daughter thought about this for a minute and then she said that she did not think *they* were completely human.

Calm down ..The govt has no place in family matters. You're opening the door to big trouble here. The lawyers are licking their chops over the possibilities already .I believe that girl hasen't been alive in years ..Not in any real sense. Why do you insist that you know what she said or didnt say to her husband. If you somehow found out tonight that there was proof she did say what he insist she told him , then what would you say to this all? I'm curious .Or is it that you dont care what her wishes were .

Actually, I am very calm. In this case her wishes were not known AND the government is starving her to death. That is something I find repugnant and disagree with. If her wishes were known I would still disagree with starvation or drug induced death just as society disagrees with suicide and euthanasia -taking away food and water is simply murder by starvation -it is not permitting death by natural causes it is procuring death...

Oh really now? Jusy how do they stand to profit?

What was the name of her friend, and what did Terri supposedly say?

Why are you asking me when this information has been constantly repeated on these threads for the last two years? I thought you were such an expert?

Bobby.

according to you , everyone is a liar if they aren't cross-examined. Wouldn't that make you a liar?
