You know, if they declared a moratorium on sarcasm on Free Republic it would cut posts by 90%.

But what I was getting at is these immigration threads don't seem to be a good place to start up flame wars because there could be some other more productive discussions going on when the thread is pulled by the moderators.

If so, I would give it five minutes before a new thread was started. It is an issue that (along with Judges) will be front and center in the months and probably years to come.
