Here's the question:
The Greens and Libertarians, nominally independent parties, took the State of Ohio to court, in order to make sure "every vote was counted" (the fact that an overturned vote would have installed Kerry was "incidental").
While I can understand Kerry being pleased with the results from Wisconsin, the question is: WHERE THE H&LL WERE THE GREENS AND THE LIBERTARIANS WHEN IT CAME TIME TO COUNT THE VOTES IN WISCONSIN? After all, everyone knew, even on election night, that Wisconsin was much closer than Ohio.
The answer is: NOWHERE!! What this means is that the Greens and the Libertarians are simply wings of the Democratic party, not a surprise for the Greens, but very disappointing for the nominally independent Libertarians.
So, everyone, the next time someone says that they're Libertarian because they're sick of the two big parties, just remind them of Wisconsin and tell them you're not fooled.
yup,...there's alot on our plate before the 2006 elections,...we'll stay focused, vigilant, and true,...next issue is the FILIBUSTER RULE change, coming this April,...that's one week from now,any "nervous nellies" on our side??
Results? A socialist, big education-loving DemoRat Governor and an alcoholic Attorney General.
I remember on Nov. 4, WI freepers posting that they saw buses full of new eligible voters arriving to vote in Kenosha, and then returning back to Chicago.
