There is obviously some doubt about who's telling the truth in this case.

There is only doubt. But, all this has been brought forth in the past week's discussion. Many are in the Perry Mason mode and many will still be in the Perry Mason mode fifty years from now. There won't be much new in the case, but the ramifications may extend to the depths of society.
