I'm sure the leftist lapdog media will report this as a gross human rights violation that we stopped these terrorist animals from escaping. I love how the MSM is trying to start up another Abu Ghirab-type controversy with Guantanomo Bay and American's aren't biting. They actually think we'll care about how Al Qaeda sub-humans are treated! LOL.
But these Iraqi terrorists filth at this prison should be given NOTHING in the way of tools or eating utensils. Make them eat with their faces directly in the food like the animal scum they are. No more writing utensils or ANYTHING that can be used to dig.

And by all means stop showing "The Great Escape" over and over as the after dinner movie...

MikeA,
I'm thinking this is the same Brandenburg who was my battalion commander in an earlier life.
If it is, he's a stud, and this'll be taken care of.

The elaborate escape is reminiscent of the 1994 movie, "The Shawshank Redemption," where a prisoner burrows his way out of prison. I don't remember much digging in the Shawshank Redemption. All I remember is he dug out a concrete block or brick and then went through the sewer system. The Great Escape would be a better analogy.

Shocking, very shocking. A nightmare was very close with another 6000 terrorists back into the battlefields. I am glad the tunnels were found.
