I expect the President's power is limited to convictions in fee=deral court --Neither he nor the governor to my knowledge have the power to overturn federal or state civil rulings.
Then how come a criminal that has been sentenced to death and is about to be injected, (and that was determined by the court and the state) yet the governor can phone and save his life. It's already happened hundreds of times before. So don't say they don't have the power.
