Well said.
You must realize that now that the pro death crowd has people upset that this woman is being starved they'll start suggesting lethal injection as less cruel. We won't be given the option of not killing the handi-capped, only the choice of means.
Jeb has done more than you could ever dream of doing Antonius. He's fought tooth and nail for Terri, and now you want to trash your true team mate?
So what?
Besides, there is a restraining order preventing him from taking Terri. These orders have the power of law.
I repeat, so what?
There is a higher law than that of Greer.
You stole my line, 'quid est veritas...'
Just re-watched the movie this evening. Still hits like a train.
Ahem... the line is "standing in the trenches..."
Otherwise excellent rhetoric with (unfortunately) the correct analysis and conclusion.
Well, the Supreme and Arrogant Judiciary will come in useful with the Globaloney philosophy of the Bush family.
We NEED Justices like Kennedy to remind us that the Constitution is a distant second to, ah, process, and such things that they worship in Europe, you know, where they are so, so, sophhhhiiisssssticated.
Yeah-and Pryor got his Appeals Court seat (?) as a reward for screwing Moore.
You'll enjoy the Jewish World Review column of today found about post #9 in this thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1369242/posts
It's called "Activating the National Guard," and I'd be willing to bet that either Schwarzkopf or Franks (both residents of Tampa) would lead the friggin' brigade.
So what? He's termed out.
Hear, Hear!!!!
"Blackrobe" has a whole new meaning, eh?
One picks one's fights, Sinky. You are of the opinion that a viable life is not worth fighting over.
There are a LOT of stupid laws with which we put up on a regular basis.
But stupid laws which result in innocent fatalities--that's a whole different category.
So go fight. The only thing worse than a person who won't act is a person who wants somebody else to fight his battles for him.
I'm tempted, but 600+ miles and a family-supporting assignment up here present a quandary.
