As Governor he could pardon the police for disobeying Greers order to resist, if anyone wanted to even charge them for that and got a convicition (and if they did I'd bet ten bucks that it would be in Greers court).

Besides, I bet that most of those police are really not to happy having to stand guard so that a disabled woman can be tortured to death by starvation and dehydration.

Like you, I wish Jeb would act. Some other poster mentioned that removing Terri at this late stage might kill her. What a thought, as if leaving her there to dehydrate and starve is not going to kill her.

And it is too late for anything to be done now. If that is true why are we just now hearing it? Her body will be creamated and the judge is protecting all records.

Goodbye Terri Schiavo.

The two names of your name will be the only Two Words I'll need to say here on FR, in 2005, in 2006, in 2007, and yes, in 2008....

....As to why I'll do my level best to never, ever go along with 'RINO', a 'PLINO' (pro-life in name only), a pro-death or otherwise wobbling, finger-in-the-wind Republican, for ANY office in the land.

Even if faced with the prospect of a pro-death Democrat as the electoral alternative.

NEITHER gets my vote from this day forward. What's the difference between overnight tyranny and tyranny-on-the-installment plan?

You have that humble, limited assurance, that is at least what I can do in memory of you, your struggle, and the larger battle for our society and our collective moral soul.

If MS were to suddenly expire, I assume the parents would regain legal custody, right. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

"I now wonder, WHO IS IN CHARGE OF ME , the courts?"

You bet your butt they are if you step out of line and find your carcass before the courts, or if someone challenges your sanity, etc.

Are steps being taken to prevent her body from being creamated?

Will Michael Shiavo be arrested immediately upon her death?

"It amazes me that so few are really willing to consider the possibility that Terri would not want to continue in this state, whether she is PVS or MCS or something else. If that is the case, then this entire circus does a grave disservice both to her and her parents and siblings. "

In response to your quote above: Most of us have at least had the thought at one time or another after seeing someone ill or handicapped that we would not want to live like that. Many of us have even vocalized those wishes. I would further point out that there are probably not to many of us that would want to be blind, or deaf, handicapped in any way, be be born with a debilitating disease, or even to have to suffer from a broken limb, but these things happen every day. Most people accept all these things as just a part of life.

In about 1996 I was diagnosed with a disease which causes the deterioration of the muscles in my extremities and difficulty breathing. As it turns out I was born with this disease. I now walk with a cane and have a little breathing difficulty at the age of 48. The time could come when my hands will be unable to hold a spoon and feed myself so I could require a feeding tube. The time may come when I might need a bi pap machine, a respirator or oxygen to help me breathe. I could be confined to a wheelchair because my legs won't support me any more.

While I don't want to live that way, I know I would adapt to those situations, just as I have adapted to having to walk with a cane now. I most certainly do not want to be starved to death or dehydrated to death. I only wish that more people realized that life is worth living until God chooses to call us home. He doesn't condone murder!

Who is truly willing to be even arrested to save Terri and stand up for Pro-Life

to save Terri's life how? i know there are people willing to be arrested... i've gone to pro-life rallies and abortion clinic picketings, and when one is being organized, one thing that is asked is, "how many of you are willing to be arrested?" and many people walk over into that group.

but when you ask that what do you have in mind? some people with their children were arrested the other day... do you mean something like that Denzel Washington movie where he played a father who took a medical team hostage? i would imagine that one would have to be extraordinarily close to the situation to do something like that...

Well, that addressed what you want. Do you know what Terri wants?

It is not "murder" if she wants to stop eating so she can be liberated from her broken body...

Watch it everyone, there are newbies aboard. You are freepers and know what to do, anger getting ahead of what is right will only make things worse. The Dummies would just love someone to screw up big time. Remember they already have done a few things in the name of conservatives. The memo for one.

"Terri won't be forgotten. Terri is leaving us allot of work to do. We need to clean up our legal system and expel the scumbags that have evil prevailing, LEGALLY."

Before we turn our attention to "clean[ing] up our legal system," social conservatives ought to think hard about political alliances with libertarian types. Judge Greer is NOT a liberal Democrat, but Republican bent on imposing economic materialism and an atomistic concept of liberty. Judge Greer would be a hero in the "Atlas Shrugged" world. Terri's passion has forced us to look at an evil as bad as socialistic materialism, an evil tolerated for the sake of tax cuts and deregulation.

She has been ruled by the Florida court system per 765.101 that the Terri is in a "Persistent vegetative state"

And Lazurus was dead for several days. What is so tough to understand that God commands us to feed the hungry and provide drink to the thirst? This isn't rocket science or obscure theoligical issues. Evena child gets it. Only adults attempting to be God make it complex.
