Thanks for pinging to your reply re $oro$ and his speech on death.
This man is very scary.
PING!
I have read some of the responses to this post, and yes, it is hard for many to understand what is going on in the medical community. Over the past 10 years - I have worked for many doctors - from Family practice, to Neurosurgeons and Pulmonologists. THIS IS A REGULAR HAPPENING!
I have worked with doctors so consumed by the 'God Complex', it was necessary for me to move on. I could not tolerate the mistreatment of the patients being seen.
I must confess - I have taken some patients aside and told them to RUN!!!
If you have never worked in the medical field - it is hard to imagine that Doctors often operate by trial and error. That is why it is called 'practicing medicine'. They have yet to get it right, and often make the wrong dosage and treatment decisions - even when the chart is in front of them and there are contraindications.
This is a BIG reason as to why I have gone out on my own and to become a Nutritonal Consultant.
The general public is not aware that they should almost always - in severe illnesses, or those that linger - GET A SECOND OPINION!!
I have advised some of my patients to this, and usually they do not want to make the doctor mad. Honestly - this is the response I have had - most recently from MY grandmother, when she was given medication she clearly DID NOT need. I told her to stop taking it, and thank goodness she did. Days later, she was feeling better. Imagine that.
This article should be reproduced and circulated among all Senior groups in the country. People must be made aware of their Rights. We do still have some in this country - I think.
Thank you for putting this out for all to see. JK

Sorry for the late response, Computer problems.
There is an attitudinal problem with Living Wills among the staff at hospitals, especially younger people.
There is the assumption that if you have one, It is ok with you if you die.
You will be last on the list to get attention, you will have minor problems that could be prevented from becoming bigger problems ignored.
Unless you have been very explicit with your physician , you will get the cheaper test instead of the most diagnostic test.
