How do you know she has any relationship to Christ? I hope she does, but I've never heard a syllable to indicate she's even heard the biblical Gospel, much less believed savingly in Christ. That's one of the reasons I see it as so important that she not die -- she may not be ready to.

It's pure sentimentalistic wish-fulfillment to yarn on (as you are not doing) about how "better off" she'll be once she dies, when we simply don't know. (I blogged on that very theme, which we see so disconcertingly often at FR -- people we don't like go straight to Hell, but people we like [irrespective of any evidence of a relationship to Christ] go straight to Heaven.)

I don't, of course, but as God managed to set up life-saving appointments for the Ethiopian eunuch, the Philippian jailer, and Cornelius, I hope He's previously found a way -- if indeed Terri will soon die at the hands of the unmerciful -- to introduce Terri to His Son and His mercy.

She was raised in a devoutly Roman Catholic household. She has at least heard the biblical Gospel.
