Long lines, overpriced, high in calories, not a fan of Starbucks anyway.

Vote with your pocketbook. If you disagree with this practice, don't spend your money at Starbucks. IMHO, it is wasted effort to get upset about something like this.

The cups also refer customers to the campaign's Web site, www.starbucks.com/wayiseeit where ordinary Joes can submit opinions for publication on a future cup. But you have to register to leave a comment...

Message on Starbucks cup: "America's national debt is now $7.5-trillion, and it's skyrocketing, even as America's population ages," the cup read. "There will never be a better time to start paying off this crippling debt than today."

"I'm a pretty hardcore Democrat," said Maston, who wore a black rubber wristband bearing the words I DID NOT VOTE 4 BUSH. "I think they should put that stuff on there."
I didn't know about the wristband until now.

Dunkin Donuts, I agree! Krispy Kreme has a great cup of coffee too! Normal coffee.

I have to admit that occasionally, (rarely) I get a Starbucks coffee but I always put that cardboard sleeve on it so I never read the cup. I am always turned off by the middle eastern types sitting outside and smoking, especially at the Starbucks inside Barnes & Nobles. Ugh!

For just 50 cents you can buy a FANTASTIC cup of Cuban coffee MUCH BETTER than anything served at Starbucks at any of a myriad of little Cuban coffee shops in South Florida. You can always recognize them. They are small and have a window outlet to the sidewalk were the proprietor serves them up. Cuban coffee, when properly prepared, has a very distinctive taste. You just can't replicate that flavor at Starbucks. Plus no propaganda on the cups. I like Cuban coffee so much that I am even thinking of writing an article on the subject.

We're in debt because we borrow too much money. We borrow too much money because we help out every nation on God's green earth. We help out ever nation on God's green earth and in turn, we are spat upon. We are spat upon every time we buy and support companies like Starbucks who are making billions on over charging people who are already in debt......a vicious cycle. Come on people...it is a freaking cup of colored water!!!! Make your own at home and get yourself out of debt!

.....Message on Starbucks cup: America's national debt......The actual message on the cup in your post does not say anything like that - it is some drivel about movies.
