As usual we are on the same wave Sistah. I watched it on Good Friday evening after attending Jack's Good Friday service. His service was awsome. Everything black. Black table cover, black cover on podium. Black candle holder with 7 black candles. Lights out. Only thing showing was 7 flames. Jack repeated the 7 last sayings that Jesus uttered from the cross and explained what they meant, then repeated the saying as KET snuffed out one flame. Then a man behind the curtain would ask Jesus to forgive us and thanked him for what he did. Then he would strike an anvil 3 times. Then on to the second saying and snuffing of candle, until all seven were out and it was totally dark. Everyone was asked to leave in silence, with just a couple of candles to light the way. It was so powerful. That is why I came home and watched the Passion.
It was indeed the perfect day for viewing The Passion of The Christ --
