never thought America would become Amerika....but it has, just in my lifetime.

I tell you, I have been so supportive of our going into Iraq. I have been a strong supporter of our liberating the Iraqi people. I have stood TALL and STRONG against anyone even remotely suggesting that we should not risk our young men for the freedom and liberty of Iraq and America. BUT I SERIOUSLY wonder now , FOR WHAT?? for THIS?? is this what the IRaqi people are going to liberate themselves to?? allowing a " new judicial system" to just legislate what Sadaam Hussien was dictating? Seems to me that would just be a transfer of power of death to the judical.

Sorry but I am just needing to let it all out and vent this morning........

polly....you are absolutely right to question this. How are our laws now any different than Sadaam Hussien's? Torture is torture, regardless of the excuses or justifications given.
