There's another corrolation on this Good Friday: Michael's friends stood at the foot of Terri's bed and made jokes and came out with grins. What did people do at the foot of Christ's cross?

I'm not trying to equate Terri with Christ...but the correlations in this case are getting eerie. Is the Lord speaking to us this Good Friday. Thank you Jesus, for what you did. God bless Terri.

Michael's friends stood at the foot of Terri's bed and made jokes and came out with grins.

At least some of the Roman soldiers declared with sudden realization, "Surely, this is the Son of God." Perhaps some of these hardened jackbooted thug cops will have their hearts softened and come to the sudden realization of the horror of what they are witnessing and enforcing.

The analogy holds, despite liberal claims to the contrary. Terri was not sinless though: she erred fatally in being "unequally yoked" with a nonbeliever. As one thinks about it though, many women murdered by husbands, whether through dehydration or other means, were also "unequally yoked."

I agree, especially if you add in that for us, in the EO church, today we celebrate the Annunciation.
