Yes. God hears our cries. He has chosen not to allow anyone in government to save Terri's life.

God has allowed Terri's husband to have control over her.

Why?

I am not sure, but in the Bible, God often allowed evil people to have control over His loved ones. And what I also noticed was that God's loved ones, never treated those who Lord over them, with contempt. They treated them, and asked them for mercy, without resenting what those "Lords" had done to them. Think of Joseph. He forgave his brothers. He did not plot against Potipher's (spelling?) wife...Joseph was unjustly treated. Yet he did not complain, or resent what the Lord allowed into his life.

Think of Nate Saint and the other missionaries who were killed in south america. Their wives and children forgave and loved the killers and actually moved in with them! They had their eyes on what was important, the salvation of those who are lost.

Jesus said to love our enemies. Terri's life is in God's hands, not anyone elses, really. Only God gives life, and he numbers our days. He can save Terri whenever he wants to.

So, one might ask what is the lesson here is?

Perhaps it is that we must all be prepared to act as Christ acted during his passion. He FORGAVE his killers. He died for them.

We must forgive.

I know this is hard to take, but Terri's parents and siblings MUST forgive Mike. Their hard hearts are more deadly than Terri's death.

They should also remember how much Terri loved him. They must go to the person God has allowed to be in control of Terri's life and beg him to save their daughter.

I think that Mike is also a target of God's mission in this ordeal. Mike's salvation is important to God. Now is the Schindlers chance to reveal God's love to this man, and the world.

In case you didn't know, my own daughter has been missing for 2 days now. I am in horrible agony. Yet as I pray the Lord continues to answer my prayers with insight into Terri Schiavo!

For those who wondered, I have no leads on my daughter's whereabouts. She is mentally ill. We do not know if there was foul play at work; or if she merely left on her own accord. Even if she left on her own, she is still in danger.

Thank you all for your prayers on our behalf. Please keep them coming.

Your post has hit me sqare between the eyes. There is no doubt that every word you wrote is truth. it squares away with the Word Of God. All of us here that are believers in Jesus Christ and know His Word, recognize truth in what you have written. I pray I can be obedient to that Word. Right now, my flesh and my spirit are in a major struggle.

by the way, prayers going up for your daughter. My nephews daughter is also mentally ill and has had to be put in a group home. PRAYERS for YOUR DAUGHTER right now.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You know where TRD's beloved daughter is ... we pray for continued protection over her and for a swift return to safety. If she is in the presence of ones who can harm her, O God, we pray that You will give them a softness toward her and that You would stay any hand raised against her. If she is absent by choice, speak to her about the worry of her family ... cause her to make contact soon, O God, and that she would return to the safety of home. Give those who are looking for her, acute awareness ... let nothing or no one be overlooked who can return this mother's child to safety. Comfort TRD in her agony, for her child and for Mary Schindler's child. In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
