Problem is - do you know that even groups producing non-partisan voter guides cannot get such information from judges running?
The judges answer that in spite of a Supreme Court ruling saying they can share their stands - they refuse to in case they have to rule on an issue in the future.
So you'd practically have to take one of the idiots out to lunch and be careful NOT to show them where you stand - in order to ferret them out.
You will need to find a way to check on how they've ruled...haven't figured out how to do that yet, but I bet there are advocacy groups, like Judiciary Watch who may know how to ferret this out.
I found that out when I tried to get info in '00. I guess it is time to demand that judges answer election questions, too.
Another thing for local laws. When the same people go to court to re-hash an issue that has already been 'decided' and appealed, the first judge should be recused and a new Judge should hear the case. The same "biased," "corrupt," or "mentally impaired" judge should NOT be making all the rulings.
