Me too!!! An innocent disabled woman is being tortured by Starvation. I can't believe this country has no laws to stop this.
Also can't believe how hard the family has fought and no one can stop one stinking Republican Judge. It's disgusting and makes no sense.
So Jeb Bush is just going to let Terri die from thirst and starvation. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. And on Good Friday, too.
I think the goofy stunt this morning - like he was REALLY going to rescue Terri - was just that - a stunt - to make us think he tried.
Barf.
There is no VALID law forcing us to accept Terri's dehydration and starvation. Somehow, very quickly, people have to realize that they don't have to follow an invalid court order.
"Authority is a postulate of the moral order and derives from God. Consequently, laws and decrees enacted in contravention of the moral order, and hence of the divine will, can have no binding force in conscience...; indeed, the passing of such laws undermines the very nature of authority and results in shameful abuse".95 This is the clear teaching of Saint Thomas Aquinas, who writes that "human law is law inasmuch as it is in conformity with right reason and thus derives from the eternal law. But when a law is contrary to reason, it is called an unjust law; but in this case it ceases to be a law and becomes instead an act of violence".96"....Gospel of Life Chapter III, Section 72.
