On a transcript of the Larry King Show, Michael Shiavo said he had been through it or done it with both his parents. Someone earlier posted the exact quote, I looked it up on CNN's transcripts.

I don't know about her mother. I read the same thing here. I don't remember seeing it anywhere else. There has been so much.
