You're right about that. If it's one thing LBJ ought to be excoriated for is giving those darkies their voting rights. Really, Dude. Class Warrior? How can you possibly claim that raising blacks from disenfranchised second-class citizens to having a voice in the political process is being a Class Warrior? I think you're right about LBJ. Welfare, Vietnam, Medicare, Medicaid.......we still haven't made it out of LBJ's sh*tstorm. And in reality, FDR's handouts only lasted 8 years. However, FDR was a socialist and I can't get past his hijacking of the dollar, among other things. I guess FDR bothers me more because so few people see his presidency for what it really was.
