Yahshua celebrated Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Firstfruits, Shavout, Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and the Feast of Dedication (Chaunnukah).
At the same time He was celebrating these feasts pagans were celebrating the sun god Mirthra's birthday on Dec.25 and the goddess Istar's day during the Spring Equinox which Constantine 300 years later renamed Easter.
Jesus was aware of these pagan holidays(actually called them an abomination) as they were going on while He was here, but chose to celebrate His Father's holy days which His Father said should be celebrated throughout all generations. In fact in Zach 14 we are told ALL THE NATIONS will come to Jerusalem to celebrate Sukkot during the Millenium. Oh darn, I guess the church will have to give up All Saints Day and Halloween to go to Jerusalem. Can you imagine we are going to have to celebrate God's holy days and not our own
MAN MADE TRADITIONS.
Hebrew Roots, Noahides, Yahwehists, etc. are groups that lead into apostasy. Much of the book of Hebrews was written as warnings against people taking Christian faith to far back into Judaism. When you do you are an apostate.
You Judaizers who have dominated this string need to realize some of us can read. Sorry, we have already read the Apostle Paul. For instance the allegory of Abraham’s family in Gal. 4:21-31.
I say with the Apostle Paul, “cast out the bondwoman,” v. 30. Christianity following Paul, did that early on. Now you Judaizers think to drag us all back under slavery (the bondwoman, Hagar, in the allegory), the Old Covenant.
At the beginning of Galatians, Paul defined its main theme, the subversion of the Gospel by Judaizers:
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed,” 1:7.
Your Judaizing is accursed. Cast out the slave woman.
