I think our rally will begin about 11:00 am. The march to the Senate will be around 2:00 or 3:00. Will probably meet at a nearby restaurant for dinner afterwards. Time and place to be determined. The rally will be at Upper Senate Park which is just north of and directly across the street from the Capitol Building. We had our House Manager's rally there in May of '99. The flag should not be too large. I don't have the exact measurements, but the one I use is about 3' wide or so. Kristinn will be firming up the schedules as we confirm speakers, etc.

I plan to be there, coming from upstate New York[But, don't dare call me a New Yorker:>)]. I'll try to bring a flag-I don't have one, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem to get one-I'll burn it after the event.

Right now, I couldn't be angrier with the Judiciary.

The TIMING for this March is absolutely PERFECT!

I URGE as many people who can attend to attend.

We have to express our anger and displeasure and work toward CURTAILING THEIR power.

I'm sure we'll have some of these informational type threads posted next week. The rally starts around 11:00 am on the 7th of April at the Upper Senate Park which is on Constitution Ave, just north of and across the street from the Capitol Building. Immediately following the rally, we will organize by state and march with flags flying to the U.S. Senate Office where we will meet with as many senators as possible (I'm hoping all 100). Or, at least, we will leave our letters with their office personnel if they're not in or otherwise indisposed. I don't think there have been any official hotels designated, but Syncro and I will be staying at the Alexandria-Historic District Holiday Inn on First St, just a couple miles south of Reagan International. We'll probably be taking a taxi to the rally. There are also three or four hotels just a few blocks north of the Senate Park, but they're kind of pricey.

Thanks and hope to see you there!!

I haven't heard of any buses being organized. So far, most are arranging their own travel and accomodations.

Hope to see you there!!

Melanie Morgan of KSFO is doing the anti-illegal immigration rally in DC, April 23-27. www.ksfo.com for more info. Haven't heard of anything coinciding with April 7. IMO April 15th is the most revolting day of the year.

I'm pissed! I don't know yet if I'll be able to be there, but if it's at all possible, I will be.

I am trying very hard to be there, I should know by the end of next week and will need info on where to meet. I'm trying to bring a few friends along to share the driving and the moment.

Will be there for the March for Justice II! Will bring a Texas flag. Thank you Jim for organizing the March.

There is nothing of greater importance than getting conservative judges confirmed. Clinton had eight years to load up the judiciary with liberal judges that will continue to have an adverse impact on the judiciary for a generation. We need to do everything possible to reverse this situation.
