Agreed on the terminology they chose to use. Terri *wasn't* dying, until they stopped feeding and hydrating her.
The statutes that are used to justify starving her now have the same construct. The only difference is that with the Advance Directive, there is no need to go to court to get permission to stop feeding the patient.
