Dr. Laura had no tears for her own mom who died and no one knew for days.

How do you know the tears someone cries?

Terri Schiavo's parents are crying.
Her brothers and sisters are crying.

And I cried today.

"Dr. Laura had no tears for her own mom who died and no one knew for days."

Dr. Laura's mother chose to live in isolation. C'mon, not now.

If memory serves me right, they didn’t get along; but I could be wrong.

If not, there are personal/private reasons. For me, when my father passed away, friends and family knew, of course; but I refused to share that with the hypocrites in my office. I didn’t want them at the funeral pretending they cared. The day of the sevice I just took the day off with some excuse. Since he died over a weekend in the States, they were none the wiser. My older brother flew to the states and made the arrangements. The ashes were brought to Panama, and we held a proper service for him.
