"FBI spokesman Al Tribble in Houston, Texas, said on Thursday there was no evidence of foul play..."

Would we be told if there was? Tin foil time.

""An unknown group, calling itself al Qaeda Organisation for Holy War in the United States of America, said it would issue a detailed statement and video of the attack later.""

I wonder if they mean a video of the actual explosion!

In totally unrelated news, No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion at the River Rouge plant in Detroit on Monday.

Who knows (even though i have my tinfoil hat on). Imagine the economic fallout that would occur if the Feds said an Al Qaeda affiliated group had attacked a refinery. If attacks of Iraqi pipelines drove speculators crazy imagine what a US refinery attack would do.

Somehow i doubt the Feds would say it was a terrorist attack, if it actually was one, unless the evidence pointing towards such a case was overwhelming and had already reached the public. There would be too much at stake for the Feds to admit a terrorist attack (especially if it was possible for them to claim other causes). Thus without incriminating footage there would be significant temptation for the Feds to say it wasn't terrorism. Saying it was would cause serious economic ramifications ranging from the dollar dipping even further to oil prices taking a significant uptick.

This is the standard line out of the Houston FBI. They never solve anything. Houston must be the dumping ground for all the incompetent agents.

I don't believe it, there was no upgrade in the Terror Alert Level. As far as I know it's like orange or peach or mango or something.

Scary crap! Our city hosts an oil refinery which is surrounded by homes! I'm not joking! It's surrounded by shops, a catholic church and school, an amusement park, a busy intersection street and tons and tons of homes. If the terrorists wanted to hit back at the US this would be the perfect target...GOD FORBID!!
